We are an Approved Contractor with Elecsa, to certify electrical work under Part P of the Building Regulations. Elecsa, together with the NICEIC, is part of Certsure who run the largest Electrical Competent Person scheme. We are also an approved member of the Trading Standards “Buy With Confidence” scheme and a member of the Government “Trustmark” scheme. We pride ourselves on having a large number of repeat customers many of who have provided testimonials to reassure new customers.
We always use qualified electricians onsite, as we believe it is important for you to have the utmost confidence in the electrical contractor you appoint no matter if that is simply installing an extra socket or having your house or business premises completely wired or rewired. The qualifications include full City and Guilds Apprenticeship Training, City and Guild level 3 Inspection and Testing, City and Guilds level 3 Wiring Regulations, Burglar Alarm Installation, Network Cabling and of course Health and Safety.
Our role begins by listening to your requirements, we will ask questions to ensure we understand your specification; then we will offer the best possible advice on your installation. We will make a visit to ensure the work is possible and discuss our ideas with you. We make sure all decisions are approved by you because we understand this is your property. You will receive a detailed estimate and we will discuss with you any changes or variations to ensure your complete satisfaction.

After having electrics for a new extension, outside lighting and a new consumer unit poorly installed by a previous contractor, Mark identified and corrected an extensive number of faults, bringing our electrics up to building regulations standard quickly and professionally. He communicated complex problems in an easy to understand way, allowing us to discuss the most cost effective and least disruptive solutions at every stage. Reliable, professional and trustworthy. Also, a nice guy to chat to - and leaves things as he finds them (clean and tidy).
had 2 sockets moved to new location with additional socket and connection for cooker hood installed, also installed a new fusebox which Mark clearly marked up what each circuit was for and tested, Mark is very efficent, friendly and arrived on the time arranged and reasonably priced, can certainly recommend.
Having recently moved to Hove, finding a tradesman is both tricky and risky. Thankfully, we found Mark. Mark is professional, punctual, methodical and meticulous and always finds a solution when there appears to be none. He also always makes good and leaves your home neat and tidy. Mark also has a tradesman's parking permit which means no "Do you have a resident's vistor permit?" or "Oh! I just have to run out and check the parking on the van!' conversations. His toolbox is an Aladdin's cave of enticing goodies, all organised with military precision and very pleasing if you like that kind of thing (and, apparently, a good way to check the professionalism of a trader). Be warned though: He is very particular about how he drinks his tea! Thanks for all your help and hard work to date, Mark. I only wish you were a plumber too....
Mark Pollock, from Bailey Pollock Electrical Services, put up 3 new light fittings, (and gave me the necessary hooks needed to fit them). He also fitted a dimmer switch and checked some light sockets. Mark is extremely professional, punctual, knowledgeable and courteous. This is the second time I have used the services of Bailey Pollock Electrical Services, having chosen them originally as they are vetted by Trading Standards to help people find trusted and reputable tradespeople. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
I would never consider using anyone else since we Mark was recommended to us. You will get someone who does things properly within all guidelines and regulations and fairly priced.
Mark Pollock was recommended to us by neighbours who were very pleased with the quality of his work. Our work involved the supply and installation of electrical supply to our summerhouse and garden shed. Mark provided exceptional service. He arrived when he said he would, the job took the two days that he said it would and the quality of workmanship was of the very high order we were led to expect. Mark is someone who gets on with the job without fuss and in a quiet and efficient manner. He did everything he could do to fit in with our busy lives, took great care to carry out a neat and efficient installation and ensured everything worked satisfactorily before leaving us. We contacted him the next day with a query. He responded immediately with advice and we were able to resolve the matter quickly and simply. We are more than happy to recommend Mark Pollock to anyone considering electrical work.
Mark Pollock installed an external power point in the garden area. Very impressed with high standard of work. Professional and totally reliable. Can strongly recommend.
A new lighting system was needed in our church and Mark took on the job. He sourced hand made lights and shelves for us, he communicated with the craftsman and took delivery of the goods. He fitted the lights and has done a great job. He undertook the job with enthusiasm and we are so pleased with the final result.
Bailey Pollock provided a number of electrical services for us - including fitting of underfloor heating in two rooms, replacement of electrical sockets and light switches and repairs to downlighting. They carried out the work when they said they would, to time and with a high degree of professional expertise. This was a satisfying and trouble-free experience.
Mark added a new circuit to my ground floor to give me several more sockets and a new switch. He did an excellent job and I plan to ask him to do further electrical work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.
I would definitely recommend Mark. He did a full re-wire of my house, and did an excellent job. Everything was done to my specification, on time, and to budget.
Mark replaced a bathroom fan, changed light switches and replaced a light fitting. His work was to a high standard and he gave us some good advice. He worked quickly, efficiently and tidily. We would recommend him.
Excellent service and highly recommend professional!
